System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Deliver real-time system information and operational assistance to the security investigation team.

• Collect and provide details regarding platform configuration and settings.

• Acquire information related to user and administrator accounts.

• Supply information on repository and repository permissions.

• Offer insights into organizational and enterprise settings.

• Gather audit and operational data.

• Provide details regarding platform administration.

• Supply any additional GitHub system information requested by the security team.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of GitHub administration and the platform.

• Refrain from conducting security analysis, investigating findings, or participating in security decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in administering and operating GitHub Enterprise environments.

• Experience with Azure DevOps is advantageous.

• Proficient in scripting and automation skills, particularly with PowerShell and Python.

• Proven experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.

• Capability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, high-visibility environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work autonomously, navigate with minimal guidance, and achieve results based on objectives rather than detailed procedures.
