This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the product roadmap for the Digital Banking sector.
• Establish the vision for digital banking experiences tailored to community financial institutions.
• Prioritize squad initiatives based on business outcomes, client requirements, and platform strategy.
• Represent the domain in executive planning, client discussions, and board-level briefings.
• Drive commercial outcomes that influence revenue, client acquisition, and retention.
• Recruit, develop, and manage the performance of all Builders within the Digital Banking sector.
• Set expectations for AI-first execution, quality of specifications, and delivery speed.
• Mentor Builders on domain knowledge, product judgment, and technical decision-making.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert in digital banking.
• Design and conceptualize comprehensive digital account opening processes.
• Coordinate identity verification, KYC, CIP, and fraud checks with third-party providers.
• Define stateful onboarding workflows, including retries, exceptions, and manual review options.
• Ensure a consistent experience across digital, branch, and call-center service channels.
• Establish UX patterns that balance regulatory disclosures with seamless user experiences.
• Guide the integration from core to digital, multi-tenant banking, and configurable platform features.
• Model AI-first practices utilizing Kiro, Claude, and specification-driven development.
• Assess and implement AI tools and practices to enhance domain output.
• Collaborate with Core and Origination SVPs on shared interfaces and dependencies.
• Work alongside Architecture on platform-wide patterns, data models, API contracts, and integrations.
• Partner with UX, QA, and Security Centers of Excellence on standards and common components.
• Align with Applied AI on opportunities for AI-driven digital banking.
• Proven experience in technical product management leadership.
• Required experience in banking processes and products; commercial and lending expertise preferred.
• Background in product or Fintech organizations is essential.
• Hands-on experience in AI-assisted product design and development workflows.
• Demonstrated application of AI tools for specification, iteration, and problem-solving.
• Willingness to exemplify AI-first practices across the domain.
• Comfort with a specification-first, AI-native development methodology.
• Over 8 years of experience in product, engineering, or technical leadership roles in digital banking or financial services.
• Extensive hands-on experience with digital banking platforms; experience building, operating, or leading teams in developing digital banking products.
• Expert understanding of digital account opening, onboarding orchestration, and KYC/CIP/fraud workflows.
• Experience in designing multi-channel banking experiences (mobile, web, branch, call center).
• Knowledge of core banking integration patterns.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS platforms catering to various financial institutions.
• Awareness of regulatory frameworks impacting digital banking (Reg E, Reg DD, BSA/AML, UDAAP).
• Experience in managing and developing product builders, engineers, or technical product managers.
• Proven track record of forming high-performing teams that deliver functional software.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels concurrently.
• Experience in making priority trade-offs among competing demands with limited information.
• Comfort with direct responsibility for commercial outcomes linked to product delivery.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data modeling, and system architecture.
• Ability to engage deeply in technical design discussions with architects.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows, CI/CD, and deployment practices.
• Understanding of front-end and back-end technology stacks for web and mobile.
