Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead research and discovery initiatives for pharmacy products in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

• Analyze and enhance comprehensive business processes from start to finish.

• Spot and tackle operational, financial, and technological opportunities.

• Implement the product discovery playbook effectively.

• Assist in the creation and evolution of new products aimed at clients and patients.

• Shape departmental strategy and oversee complex technical projects with considerable independence.

• Engage in leadership discussions and outline clear actionable steps.

• Oversee client engagements and perform opportunity evaluations.

• Spearhead projects that drive business growth.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and cultivate internal and external relationships.

• Create cost-benefit analyses and evaluate proposals.

• Conduct analyses on win/loss and build/buy/partner decisions.

• Manage products across their entire lifecycle.

• Enhance consumer experience and advocate for operational excellence.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training sessions or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related discipline is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in product management, project management, or consulting specifically within the pharmacy, PBM, or healthcare sectors.

• Proven track record of successfully managing products from initial concept to delivery, including translating strategy into consumer-facing product development.

• Experience in conducting analysis to convert strategy into consumer-oriented products.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to excel in a collaborative remote work setting while managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Must work from a designated space without disturbances to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Minimum internet speed requirement of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Certification as a Product Owner/Product Manager is preferred.

• PMP, CBAP, CCP, or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certifications are preferred.

• A master’s degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred.

• Experience with business products is preferred.

• Background in collaborating with and establishing relationships with third-party vendors is preferred.
