This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Formulate the product vision and strategy for checkout, payment, and order processing.
• Identify friction points in the checkout process and create measurable hypotheses along with optimization initiatives.
• Consistently enhance checkout and payment processes, including the incorporation of new payment providers and methods.
• Optimize payment success rates, order completion, and cancellation processes while enhancing conversion and customer experience.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to implement fraud prevention measures.
• Advance cross-channel and omnichannel processes such as Click & Collect.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business impact, and data insights.
• Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to checkout, payment, and order processes.
• Utilize A/B testing, analytics, and user feedback for ongoing optimization efforts.
• Work closely with Engineering, UX, Data, and other product teams.
• Take ownership from problem identification through to the delivery of a production-ready solution.
• Several years of experience in digital product management, preferably within an e-commerce, marketplace, or platform setting.
• Familiarity with checkout, payment, or order processes and their ongoing optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and data-driven product development.
• Strong grasp of product and business KPIs, with experience in utilizing analytics or experimentation tools.
• Proficient in prioritization, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams, including Engineering, UX, and Data.
• Strong analytical abilities, a sense of ownership, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Knowledge of payment integrations, payment methods, or fraud prevention is a plus.
• Familiarity with omnichannel or cross-channel orders, such as Click & Collect, is advantageous.
• Understanding of inventory and availability logic in the checkout process is desirable.
• Experience in retail, sports, or consumer products is considered a bonus.
