This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the Fund Administration function encompassing fund administration, regulatory submissions, board reporting, audit coordination, liquidity oversight, service-provider management, and operational controls.
• Develop and continually enhance a scalable operating model to support Tidal’s growth while ensuring accuracy, consistency, robust controls, and high service quality.
• Lead and mentor senior managers and fund administration professionals, fostering leadership depth, succession readiness, accountability, and a collaborative team environment.
• Supervise regulatory submissions, board reporting, liquidity oversight, audits, and operational risk management.
• Manage SEC submissions and fund reporting requirements, including Forms N-PORT, N-CEN, 24f-2, and N-PX.
• Oversee board reporting and provide support for regulatory examinations, audits, client due diligence, and oversight activities.
• Establish policies, procedures, escalation frameworks, service standards, metrics, and management reporting.
• Act as a senior point of contact for fund administrators, custodians, auditors, legal counsel, boards, clients, and service providers.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Client Service, Product, and Technology teams.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, mitigate operational risk, enhance consistency, and implement automation and reporting solutions.
• Shape the future infrastructure and capabilities for Tidal’s expanding ETF platform.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in ETF fund operations, ETF fund administration, or a closely related ETF operational role, with significant ETF industry exposure required.
• Extensive experience in leading large teams, senior managers, or multi-team operational groups in a high-growth or high-volume setting.
• Profound knowledge of ETF operations, including regulatory submissions, board reporting, audit support, liquidity oversight, service-provider management, and operational controls.
• Strong grasp of SEC regulatory requirements pertinent to ETFs and registered funds.
• Experience collaborating closely with ETF fund administrators, custodians, auditors, legal counsel, boards, and other fund service providers.
• Proven capability to develop scalable processes, enhance controls, minimize operational risk, and boost efficiency across complex workflows.
• Demonstrated success in managing board materials, regulatory submissions, audit cycles, and other fund oversight activities.
• Exceptional judgment, communication, relationship management, and executive presence.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to balance strategic leadership, shifting priorities, and hands-on issue resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Experience with liquidity oversight and operational risk management.
• Preferred: Advanced degree or professional certification, such as an MBA or CFA.
• Preferred: Experience in scaling an ETF operating platform through significant organizational or business growth.
