Suspicious Activity Report Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate and submit Suspicious Activity Reports to various regulatory authorities.

• Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of SAR submissions in accordance with regulatory and internal service level agreements (SLAs) and reporting timelines.

• Organize and prioritize assigned caseloads effectively.

• Juggle multiple priorities, including personal production tasks and ad hoc projects.

• Utilize external platforms for SAR filing.

• Adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Attend team meetings and keep updated on team and SOP advancements.

• Contribute to Compliance initiatives as directed by the Team Lead.

• Employ team tools and systems, such as Slack, Admin, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Enhance understanding of criminal tactics and anti-money laundering (AML) typologies.

• Stay informed about industry trends and developments related to cryptocurrency crime, compliance, and BSA/AML regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least two years of experience in the financial services sector, ideally within a cryptocurrency and/or compliance capacity.

• Familiarity with defined operational procedures and adherence to written guidelines.

• Capability to handle competing priorities and manage high-volume workloads while complying with SLAs and regulatory deadlines.

• Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail along with solid organizational skills.

• Capacity to take ownership of task assignments and produce results in a high-output environment.

• CAMS certification and/or blockchain investigations accreditation(s) are advantageous.

• Willingness to work occasional weekends or shifts is a plus.

• Proficiency in foreign languages is an added benefit.
