Survey Programming Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and code intricate, multi-country surveys utilizing survey programming platforms.

• Evaluate client questionnaires and logic specifications, offering guidance on survey design, routing, and user experience.

• Perform quality assurance testing on programmed surveys, assessing logical pathways, quotas, skip patterns, and device compatibility.

• Oversee backend survey data management and guarantee clean, well-formatted delivery in SPSS, Excel, CSV, or comparable formats.

• Identify and fix technical scripting errors, link tracking problems, and respondent flow issues during live fieldwork.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and client researchers to clarify project needs and provide updates on timelines.

• Take ownership of the technical aspects of the survey lifecycle from initial scripting and logic testing to QA, hosting, and final data delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of practical survey programming experience in a market research, panel, or data collection setting.

• Advanced expertise in key survey programming platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer, or similar ResTech tools.

• Strong familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Python or XML is highly advantageous.

• Outstanding analytical and quality assurance skills.

• Proven history of delivering clean, error-free survey logic and data files.

• Significant experience in collaborating with internal teams and external clients.

• Proficient in managing expectations, resolving technical inquiries, and ensuring timely deliverables.
