Survey Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect field survey data utilizing GRS/robotic equipment

• Conduct ALTA surveys

• Compute and establish legal descriptions for property boundaries

• Use surveying instruments and equipment for topographic, ALTA, boundary, construction, and various other projects

• Identify and delineate land by measuring and calculating points, elevations, lines, angles, areas, and contours

• Operate in both indoor office settings and outdoor field environments across diverse climates

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required

• Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred

• Prior experience with ALTA Surveys is preferred

• Must be willing to travel within the United States; anticipated travel is 1–2 weeks per trip

• A resourceful self-starter

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Proficient in basic math and land-surveying measurements, including linear, angular, elevation, and unit-system conversions

• Capable of performing physical movements and operating tools and equipment outdoors in varying climates

• High school diploma or GED is required

• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

• Competent in sitting, typing, handling office and/or field equipment, and effective communication

• Occasionally able to stand, walk, balance, kneel, or crouch

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
