Survey Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Collect field survey data utilizing GRS/robotic equipment

• Execute ALTA surveys

• Compute and establish legal descriptions of property boundaries

• Utilize survey instruments and equipment for topographic, ALTA, boundary, construction, and various other projects

• Identify and ascertain land by measuring and calculating points, elevations, lines, angles, areas, and contours

• Carry out tasks indoors and outdoors in diverse weather conditions

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required

• Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred

• Previous experience performing ALTA Surveys is preferred

• Willingness to travel within the United States is required; expected travel is 1–2 weeks per trip

• Self-motivated and resourceful

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Understanding of basic mathematics and land-surveying measurements, including linear, angular, elevation, and unit-system conversions

• Capability to perform physical activities and operate tools and equipment outdoors across various climates

• High school diploma or GED is required

• Ability to sit, type, manage office and/or field equipment, speak, and hear

• Capacity to occasionally stand, walk, balance, kneel, or crouch

• Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds
