This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Assist in retention and completion initiatives by providing guidance and support to students facing academic, attendance, or personal challenges.
• Offer backup assistance across Student Services through comprehensive technical expertise in each area.
• Identify job opportunities within the local area.
• Manage job board listings.
• Craft resumes for students and graduates.
• Reach out to graduates to aid in their job search endeavors.
• Conduct follow-ups with unemployed students and graduates via phone calls, text messages, and/or social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the Employer Development Team to promote students to employers who do not have job postings available.
• Ensure robust employment rates for active students and alumni.
• Precisely collect and document student and graduate employment records in compliance with ACCSC standards and relevant state regulations.
• Follow up with graduates and employers to guarantee timely submission and accurate documentation of employment verification information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume phone or sales environment is required.
• Industry knowledge is preferred.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding established metrics in metrics-driven settings.
• Strong customer service abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and multitasking are crucial.
• Strong presentation and sales capabilities.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds for 5% or less of the workday.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 5% or less of the workday.
• Capacity to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason throughout the entire workday.
• Ability to sit and walk or move around for extended periods during the workday.
• Capability to use a keyboard and perform manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Willingness to communicate, think, learn, and reason.
• Willingness to utilize computers and computer systems, including hardware and software, to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks.
• Willingness to safely navigate and/or maneuver when present at Company locations.
• Willingness to demonstrate and apply active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering, and category flexibility.
