Support Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute full-stack development utilizing JavaScript alongside Node.js and Backbone.js

• Adjust data and revise database structures for SQL-type databases

• Assess and finalize assigned tickets while overseeing the feedback loop as necessary

• Offer technical assistance to clients through email and phone communications

• Acknowledge and address customer inquiries within service level agreements (SLAs)

• Troubleshoot reported application issues and validate modifications through testing

• Update and oversee GitHub branches and associated changes

• Operate a Linux-based operating system to manage and deploy application updates via Docker

• Contribute to the advancement of the product and acquire new knowledge to enhance the support services offered

• Uphold and advocate for high standards of security, confidentiality, and compliance

• Complete onboarding, role-specific training, and adhere to security/compliance standards

• Manage customer inquiries and support processes, document work effectively, and escalate issues promptly

• Independently resolve common issues while maintaining precise case documentation

• Enhance response quality, documentation, knowledge content, visibility of recurring issues, and overall customer satisfaction

• Strengthen the quality and efficiency of support, engage in cross-functional problem solving, mentor junior developers, and collaborate within the team

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from a university or college with a degree in computer science

• Solid foundation in developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

• Excellent command of the English language

• Willingness to continuously learn and embrace new technologies

• Familiarity with NGINX, Bootstrap, jQuery, Backbone, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Mocha, and Git

• A portfolio, demos, or published JavaScript code on GitHub would be advantageous

• Capability to maintain security, confidentiality, and compliance when handling internal systems, customer data, and company processes
