This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the design, architecture, and engineering delivery of the organization's agentic AI platform and associated solutions.
• Transform current products, workflows, and processes into scalable capabilities powered by agentic AI.
• Manage comprehensive AI engineering operations, which encompass development, deployment, monitoring, reliability, and continuous enhancement.
• Collaborate with product, data, architecture, security, business, and various cross-functional stakeholders.
• Establish technical roadmaps, platform standards, and solution priorities that align with business objectives.
• Implement engineering best practices to ensure AI system performance, scalability, security, governance, and maintainability.
• Assess, integrate, and optimize AI models, orchestration frameworks, and supporting platform components.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities to enhance value delivery through reusable AI services, automation, and operational efficiencies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in building applications on large language models.
• At least one agentic system deployed in a production environment beyond just a demo.
• Hands-on experience in developing AI agents on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore or similar methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one agent framework, such as Strands Agents, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or a custom orchestration layer.
• Strong skills in Python programming.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, chunking strategies, embeddings, and vector stores like OpenSearch or pgvector.
• Experience in designing tool usage and function calling for APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Preferred familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience in agent evaluation, observability, tracing, and monitoring cost and latency.
• Capability to prototype complex business challenges and refine solutions with security, guardrails, error handling, and CI/CD using CDK or Terraform.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly to product and business partners.
