Supply Planning Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of Supply Planning processes and procedures within the RealTruck S&OP framework.

• Create and sustain rough-cut capacity planning and network capacity analyses at the value stream, plant, and subgroup levels.

• Identify constraints, capacity deficiencies, and opportunities to synchronize supply with demand.

• Evaluate and update manufacturing value streams and flows based on demand characteristics.

• Facilitate production planning and scheduling by examining production needs, inventory levels, capacity restrictions, and demand priorities.

• Engage in regular production and supply planning reviews, emphasizing risks, plan deviations, and potential solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and analyze Supply Chain dashboards and KPIs, including Schedule Adherence/Attainment, On-Time Delivery, Fill Rate, inventory levels, and days of supply.

• Assess planning rates and assumptions, including hours per unit, production rates, efficiencies, and actual versus planned capacity.

• Propose updates to planning rates and assumptions as necessary.

• Create and maintain statistical inventory models to establish target levels for finished goods and raw materials.

• Support inventory policies for finished goods and components, including safety stock, stocking strategies, replenishment parameters, economic order quantities, and Kanban sizing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate supply, inventory, and capacity challenges.

• Offer data-driven insights to bolster business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a similarly analytical field is mandatory.

• 2-5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or Operational Finance is essential.

• Proficiency in Demand Planning/Supply Planning.

• Familiarity with top-tier ERP/MRP systems, including usage, calibration, and parameter settings.

• Experience with Excel and Access is required.

• Capability to effectively present information to senior management.

• Skill to analyze and convey numerical data utilizing analytical capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate across functions with manufacturing, sales, and finance teams.

• No specific licenses are required.

• Ability to perform sedentary work, involving sitting for extended periods with occasional walking and standing.

• Ability to communicate verbally and hear effectively.

• Close visual acuity necessary for preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing computer screens, reading, inspecting, measuring, and conducting assembly tasks.
