This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +5 more countries.
• Oversee glass orders and guarantee the availability of necessary hardware and materials to initiate production.
• Strategize inventory levels and anticipate procurement needs.
• Analyze technical drawings and specifications to compile precise material lists.
• Confirm dimensions, finishes, and quality standards prior to placing orders.
• Monitor engineering documentation and procurement modifications throughout project lifecycles.
• Finalize procurement paperwork and component orders before production and container arrivals.
• Identify, assess, and cultivate supplier relationships across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
• Negotiate pricing, payment conditions, and delivery timelines.
• Oversee purchasing for production, warehouse, and installation operations.
• Evaluate supplier performance and address quality, logistics, and delivery challenges.
• Enhance procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse, and Installation teams.
• Assist with engineering modifications, material substitutions, and procurement planning.
• Provide procurement expertise, material suggestions, and project pricing insights.
• Ensure that procured materials comply with project specifications and technical documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Supply Engineers.
• Delegate tasks, prioritize workloads, and oversee project timelines.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings and offer coaching and performance evaluations.
• Review procurement documentation, material lists, and purchase orders generated by the team.
• Address complex sourcing challenges and manage supplier escalations.
• Align procurement activities with internal stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement and streamline procurement workflows.
• Update the Chief Technical Officer on progress, risks, and operational developments.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer, or in a comparable engineering procurement role within the US market.
• Prior experience in people management or team leadership.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers from the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
• Background in procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering or production materials.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Skilled in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
• Experience utilizing task management systems such as ClickUp or similar platforms.
• Fluent in English is required.
• Proficiency in Russian is advantageous.
• Assertive and proactive leadership qualities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• High degree of ownership and accountability.

• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
