
Supply Engineering Team Lead, US Market Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more countries.
β’ Directly report to the Chief Technical Officer.
β’ Supervise a team of four Supply Engineers.
β’ Manage glass orders and ensure the availability of hardware and materials necessary for production launch.
β’ Strategize inventory levels and anticipate procurement needs.
β’ Analyze technical drawings and specifications to compile material lists.
β’ Confirm dimensions, finishes, and quality standards prior to order placement.
β’ Monitor engineering documentation and procurement modifications throughout project lifecycles.
β’ Ensure all procurement documentation and component orders are finalized before production and container arrivals.
β’ Identify, assess, and cultivate supplier relationships across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
β’ Negotiate costs, payment conditions, and delivery timelines.
β’ Oversee purchasing for production, warehouse, and installation operations.
β’ Evaluate supplier performance and address quality, logistics, and delivery challenges.
β’ Enhance procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and cost management.
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse, and Installation teams.
β’ Assist with engineering modifications, material substitutions, and procurement planning.
β’ Provide procurement knowledge, material suggestions, and project pricing details.
β’ Ensure acquired materials comply with project specifications and technical documentation.
β’ Delegate tasks, prioritize workloads, and track project deadlines.
β’ Conduct individual meetings and offer coaching along with performance feedback.
β’ Review procurement documents, material lists, and purchase orders created by the team.
β’ Address complex sourcing issues and supplier escalations.
β’ Coordinate procurement activities across various departments.
β’ Drive ongoing improvement and streamline procurement processes.
β’ Report progress, risks, and operational updates to the Chief Technical Officer.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer, or in a comparable engineering procurement role within the US market.
β’ Prior experience in people management or team leadership.
β’ Experience collaborating with suppliers in international markets, including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
β’ Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and import/export of engineering or production materials.
β’ Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
β’ Proficient in AutoCAD.
β’ Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF tools.
β’ Familiarity with task management systems such as ClickUp or similar.
β’ Fluent in English is essential.
β’ Fluency in Russian is an advantage.
β’ Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
