This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Direct, mentor, and assist payroll professionals in managing payroll processing, timekeeping, training, performance, and team collaboration.
• Oversee time and attendance functions, which include data collection, historical adjustments, reporting, training, and resolving service tickets.
• Ensure payroll service standards are upheld by addressing ServiceNow tickets, escalations, associate inquiries, and time-sensitive concerns accurately and swiftly.
• Carry out off-cycle payroll, on-cycle adjustments, closing activities, bulk payments, Positive Pay, ACH transmissions, and check-print files.
• Handle manual checks, reversals, stop payments, reissues, paycheck distribution, direct deposit activities, and specialized payments.
• Conduct audits and balance payroll and timekeeping data, review quality-control outcomes, maintain records, and assist with SOX, internal, and external audits.
• Monitor payroll overpayments, facilitate third-party collections, reconcile Netpay and Money Network accounts, and collaborate with the Accounting team as necessary.
• Stay informed on payroll law changes, revise procedures, train teams on new regulations, and identify process enhancements across payroll services.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in payroll and/or time and attendance operations.
• Prior hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and/or UKG Pro/Kronos for payroll or timekeeping functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word in a professional setting.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with the discretion to manage sensitive information confidentially.
• Capability to handle shifting priorities, multiple projects, and time-sensitive deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Robust interpersonal skills.
• Professionalism and sensitivity in managing challenging situations and complex associate issues.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience in Payroll or Human Resources is preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for managing payroll or HR service requests is preferred.
• Experience in supervising, coaching, or training payroll support professionals is preferred.
