Senior Payroll Analyst – India Payroll, UKG Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct benefit deduction audits with PlanSource on a quarterly and ad hoc basis for the U.S.

• Extract and prepare payroll, benefits, and compensation reports for Finance and Total Rewards teams worldwide.

• Perform payroll-related audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance on a global scale.

• Review payroll audit trails and preview files prior to payroll processing.

• Provide backup and support coverage for Payroll Specialists during their leave or holidays in EMEA and APJ.

• Assist the Payroll Analyst with payroll processes in India.

• Contribute to global payroll projects as required.

• Engage in data review and validation with UKG during the Global Payroll Implementation.

• Organize payroll folders and files for effective documentation and accessibility.

• Update and help create instructional manuals, tips, and reference resources.

• Maintain and refresh payroll “Toolboxes” for each country.

• Execute additional payroll-related tasks as assigned.

• Address employee inquiries regarding time-off balances.

• Guide employees with navigation and basic questions in UKG and the Employee Resource Center.

• Provide year-end statements, pay stubs, and other payroll documents upon request.

• Manage the payroll inbox, delegate inquiries to appropriate team members, and ensure timely follow-up for resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• 3-5 years of payroll experience required.

• Basic knowledge of India payroll is required.

• Familiarity with US payroll is preferred or considered a plus.

• Knowledge of EMEA and/or APJ payroll is a plus.

• Experience with UKG is advantageous.
