Supervisor, Patient Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assigned team members

• Handle the daily billing, collections, or audit and reporting functions within the designated area

• Engage in strategic planning initiatives for the department

• Act as a technical expert for team colleagues

• Provide assistance with various tasks as needed

• Liaise with supervisors, staff, patients, third-party payers, and others to address issues and concerns

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma (mandatory)

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Patient Financial Services (mandatory)

• Experience with Laboratory Billing (mandatory)

• Familiarity with Medical Terminology (preferred)

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Knowledge of Epic Beaker (preferred)
