This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee revenue recognition for the consolidated organization.
• Ensure prompt and precise revenue recognition and reconciliation across accounting, billing, and various other systems.
• Act as the main point of contact for inquiries and reports related to revenue.
• Streamline reporting for revenue, accounts receivable, and implicit price concessions (IPC).
• Reconcile billing system (AMD) charges and collections with the EHR system and bank collections.
• Prepare monthly entries for revenue and IPC, and reconcile related general ledger accounts.
• Create technical accounting memos for the application of guidance, policies, and non-standard transactions.
• Develop and document procedures and processes for revenue accounting.
• Analyze payor contracts to assess accounting implications.
• Review and audit the pay rates sheet utilized in revenue reporting and billing.
• Track and report on accounts receivable days outstanding (DSO) by payor.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle team to address reconciliation discrepancies and payor-specific concerns.
• Partner with the Finance team to improve revenue forecasting based on payor specifics.
• Monitor and report on cash collections and their applications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is mandatory.
• More than 8 years of experience in a blend of Revenue Accounting and Finance.
• Strong grasp of revenue recognition principles, especially ASC 606.
• Capability to research accounting literature and clarify complex situations.
• Background in high-tech or software industries is preferred.
• Proficient in analyzing extensive datasets using Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with a knack for identifying trends.
• Strong proficiency in Google Suite and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data and strategies to diverse audiences.
• Ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• A self-starter who is resourceful, takes initiative, and excels in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
