This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
β’ Supervise daily functions and staffing for designated teams.
β’ Modify staff schedules and resolve workflow discrepancies.
β’ Assist in the recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and retention of personnel.
β’ Address employee concerns and set expectations for performance and workplace behavior.
β’ Provide coaching, constructive feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
β’ Organize training sessions, competency evaluations, and quality review processes.
β’ Address client inquiries and manage requests effectively.
β’ Track patient access, productivity, satisfaction, and workflow efficiency KPIs, implementing necessary corrective measures.
β’ Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and organizational policies.
β’ Review medication authorizations and decide on appropriate actions.
β’ Conduct investigations into benefits and evaluate coverage and out-of-pocket expenses.
β’ Identify options for financial assistance.
β’ Work with clinics to gather documentation, submit prior authorizations, and assist with coverage-denial appeals.
β’ Communicate authorization decisions, coverage results, financial assistance options, and pharmacy access pathways to patients.
β’ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client EMR systems and Visante tracking tools.
β’ Assist with client onboarding, training, workflow enhancement, and ongoing process improvements.
β’ Collaborate with Visante leadership, clients, clinical teams, and cross-departmental groups.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
β’ An Associate Degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare or with pharmacy providers on medication access is required.
β’ Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy Technician must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in supervising or managing a team, including staff scheduling, performance management, and professional development, is preferred.
β’ Active CPhT certification through either PTCB or NHA is preferred.
β’ Strong judgment, multitasking abilities, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal and client relationship skills.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Clear and effective communication skills.
β’ Dedication to upholding patient confidentiality.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of medication reimbursement and healthcare prior authorization/coding.
β’ Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
β’ Skills in conflict resolution.
β’ Leadership and team management abilities.
