This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage daily operations by providing support to staff involved in insurance-related tasks

• Oversee, guide, and supervise the processes of posting, collections, and reimbursement

• Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding financial assistance options

• Communicate policies and educate staff on billing-related matters

• Advise patients on issues related to finance and account management

• Counsel department managers on matters concerning collections

• Address missing charge-ticket lists and create replacement tickets as necessary

• Collaborate with the pharmacy to ensure appropriate drug pricing

• Track and update monthly departmental collection totals

• Inform relevant areas about diagnoses, pricing, and charges for special batches

• Engage in the selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff

• Update employees about changes within the department

• Provide coverage during employee absences such as illness and vacations; serve as backup for the HMO/PPO Representative

• Assist the IBC team with various special projects


⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate degree or a combination of education and experience may fulfill the minimum educational requirement

• 5 years of pertinent experience

• No specific certification or professional license is mandated

• Proficiency in Accounting

• Strong Communication skills

• Excellent Customer Service abilities

• Knowledge in Finance

• Familiarity with Health Insurance

• Strong Organizational skills

• Effective Problem-Solving capabilities

• Experience in Supervisory Management

• A driver's license is not required
