
Supervisor, Field Service – Southeast Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Oversee, mentor, coach, and nurture Field Service Representatives and Patient Service Representatives.
• Conduct field ride-alongs and site visits to assess workflows, technical skills, and overall performance.
• Manage daily scheduling and staffing needs for customer locations and service routes.
• Monitor productivity, quality, compliance, reports, audits, and field evaluations; take necessary corrective actions.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance evaluations.
• Develop onboarding strategies and assess training programs.
• Facilitate one-on-one meetings, team discussions, and territory performance reviews.
• Handle administrative duties related to timekeeping, compensation, performance, and policy management.
• Ensure proficiency in brace fitting, product knowledge, and patient interaction.
• Uphold service policies, clinical protocols, manufacturer guidelines, HIPAA, FDA standards, and Breg SOPs.
• Provide education to team members, healthcare providers, and customers regarding products, workflows, service standards, and inventory management practices.
• Offer hands-on service support, including measuring, fitting, troubleshooting, and assisting with standard and custom orthopedic bracing solutions.
• Train staff and clients on Breg Vision and Breg Claims System (BCS).
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for SNB accounts.
• Supervise inventory and claims procedures, including documentation, claim scrubbing, par levels, cycle counts, replenishment, returns, and loss reduction.
• Collaborate with the Area Manager, Field Services, Sales Teams, Billing, Solutions Teams, and other stakeholders to enhance processes.
• Analyze KPI and performance metrics, prepare operational reports, identify gaps, and implement action plans.
• Cultivate relationships with Sales Teams, physicians, clinical staff, office managers, and customer accounts.
• Address escalated service issues and workflow discrepancies.
• Conduct onsite visits to important accounts.
• Foster Breg’s culture of accountability, recognition, and ongoing improvement.
• Associate’s degree in a healthcare-related discipline is required; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in orthotics, athletic training, sports medicine, durable medical equipment (DME), or patient care.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or management role in a field-based, clinical, operational, or healthcare setting, including remote and in-office teams across various locations and time zones.
• At least 2 years of experience with standard procedures and workflows in orthopedic clinics or physician offices.
• Must hold and maintain relevant certification or licensure such as ABC Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), BOC, Athletic Training licensure, or Orthopaedic Technologist Certification.
• Previous experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of orthopedic bracing and supply products along with their utilization procedures.
• Computer skills including familiarity with web browsers, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Capability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for nights and weekends as required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including regional travel by personal vehicle and domestic air travel.
• Ability to undertake travel away from home and overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
• Capacity to provide regional coverage for absences and staffing gaps, including short-notice out-of-state travel.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record and current automobile insurance.
• May need to meet screening, identity verification, and third-party credentialing requirements.
