This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations pertaining to the maintenance and repair of Fidelis Care New York vehicles.
• Supervise drivers and assist the driving staff with their requests as necessary.
• Arrange schedules for the fleet of RVs utilized by the Fidelis Care Community Office.
• Manage fleet drivers throughout Upstate New York, including cities such as Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany.
• Ensure that RVs are adequately maintained and safe for full operational functionality.
• Conduct regular mechanical diagnostics and maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep.
• Schedule maintenance and service calls to guarantee the ongoing operation of the fleet.
• Plan and organize travel itineraries to minimize delays and ensure successful outcomes.
• Coordinate the presence of vehicles at Marketing Events.
• Ensure vehicles are equipped with up-to-date materials and brochures.
• Assess optimal inventory and stock levels.
• Reorder stock to manage inventory levels effectively and meet operational goals.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team on operations.
• High School diploma is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is preferred.
• Two to five years of relevant experience is required.
• One to three years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles such as taxis, limousines, trucks, and/or buses, along with transporting passengers.
• Proven experience in addressing routine vehicle malfunctions, changing flat tires, checking tire pressure, and performing oil changes.
• Management capabilities, including overseeing a team of drivers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Access; Lotus Notes; Internet; PeopleSoft timekeeping.
• General knowledge and troubleshooting ability with standard motorized vehicles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of management and both internal and external customers.
• Capability to work well independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in articulating technical and business requirements in written form.
• Fluency in one or more languages in addition to English is preferred.
