Supervising Psychiatrist – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the supervising physician for psychiatric Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).

• Offer clinical oversight for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) providing psychotherapy in compliance with relevant state laws and scope-of-practice regulations.

• Develop and uphold clinical standards for adult behavioral health populations across psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services.

• Provide clinical consultation for complex cases.

• Perform chart reviews and conduct quality audits.

• Support behavioral health protocols and care standards.

• Engage in occasional case reviews and team meetings.

• Provide insights on program development as the organization expands.

• Oversee clinical decision-making and operations through Luro Provider Group.

⛳️ Requirements

• An M.D. or D.O. with board certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.

• An active psychiatry license in Pennsylvania and/or Vermont is required.

• Must possess an active unrestricted license in at least one participating state.

• Capability to acquire additional licenses with the support of the company.

• Experience in supervising psychiatric APPs and/or LCSWs in telehealth or multi-state settings is preferred.

• Strong understanding of psychiatric clinical guidelines, quality metrics, documentation expectations, and regulatory standards.

• Experience working with Medicaid and Medicare populations as well as integrated behavioral health care models is strongly preferred.

• Proven leadership in clinical program development, provider supervision, and quality enhancement.

• Excellent communication abilities with care teams, cross-functional partners, and patients.

• Comfortable operating within a rapidly growing, remote-first organization.

• Availability of approximately 10–20 hours per week.

• Responsible for clinical decision-making and oversight within the medical practice.
