Supervising Psychiatrist – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the supervising physician for psychiatric Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).

• Offer clinical oversight for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) providing psychotherapy in alignment with relevant state laws and scope-of-practice regulations.

• Develop and uphold clinical standards for adult behavioral health populations within psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care.

• Provide clinical consultation on intricate cases.

• Perform chart evaluations and quality audits.

• Support behavioral health protocols and care standards.

• Engage in occasional case reviews and team meetings.

• Provide guidance on program development as the organization expands.

• Assist in establishing standards, workflows, supervision models, and quality frameworks for a burgeoning virtual behavioral health program catering to Medicare and Medicaid populations.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with board certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.

• Active psychiatry license in Pennsylvania and/or Vermont is required.

• Active unrestricted license in at least one participating state is necessary.

• Capability to acquire additional licenses with company assistance.

• Experience in supervising psychiatric APPs and/or LCSWs in telehealth or multi-state settings is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of psychiatric clinical guidelines, quality metrics, documentation requirements, and regulatory obligations.

• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare populations, as well as integrated behavioral health care models, is highly preferred.

• Proven leadership in clinical program development, provider oversight, and quality enhancement.

• Exceptional communication skills with care teams, cross-functional partners, and patients.

• Comfort operating within a rapidly growing, remote-first organization.
