Supervising Psychiatrist, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the supervising physician for psychiatric Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).

• Offer clinical oversight for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) providing psychotherapy in compliance with relevant state regulations and scope-of-practice requirements.

• Create and uphold clinical standards for adult behavioral health populations within psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care.

• Deliver clinical consultation on intricate cases.

• Perform chart reviews and quality audits.

• Advocate for behavioral health protocols and care standards.

• Engage in occasional case reviews and team meetings.

• Provide guidance on program development as the organization expands.

• Deliver clinical decision-making and oversight through the Luro Provider Group.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with board certification in Psychiatry is required.

• An active psychiatry license in Pennsylvania and/or Vermont is necessary.

• Must hold an active unrestricted license in at least one participating state.

• Capability to acquire additional licenses with support from the company.

• Preferred experience in supervising psychiatric APPs and/or LCSWs in telehealth or multi-state settings.

• Strong understanding of psychiatric clinical guidelines, quality metrics, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare populations as well as integrated behavioral health care models is strongly preferred.

• Proven leadership in clinical program development, provider oversight, and quality enhancement.

• Exceptional communication skills with care teams, cross-functional collaborators, and patients.

• Comfortable working within a growing, remote-first organization.

• Flexible availability for around 10–20 hours per week.
