Supervising Physician – Telemedicine Primary Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Utilize high-quality, independent medical judgment while overseeing care provided by delegates.

• Supervise at least 4 advanced practice practitioner (APP) professionals.

• Oversee patient care across various service lines, including primary care and mental health issues.

• Offer constructive feedback regarding patient care and documentation.

• Report any clinical or professional concerns related to delegates to Circle Medical Clinical Leadership as necessary.

• Provide guidance to delegates on clinical queries or issues as required.

• Review a minimum of 5% of delegates’ clinical notes each month.

• Conduct meetings with delegates via video or telephone at least once per quarter, or more frequently if needed.

• Maintain written records of quarterly meeting occurrences and attendance.

• Comply with chart review service level expectations.

• Respond promptly to credentialing and enrollment inquiries.

• Meet federal, state, and payer-specific supervisory requirements.

• Delegate prescriptive authority and perform reviews of patient charts.

• Compensation is prorated based on completed weeks of service.

• Any absence exceeding 30 days will result in the reassignment of delegates.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in South Carolina.

• Must have graduated from an accredited MD/DO program.

• Must be Board-Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.

• Other Board Certifications may be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis.

• A minimum of two years post-residency practice experience is strongly preferred; 3-5+ years is ideal.

• Ideal candidates should have experience as a primary care provider in an outpatient, continuity-of-care clinical environment.

• Telemedicine experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• A South Carolina DEA and License are required.

• A PC with Windows PRO or a Mac newer than 2019 is necessary.

• Must demonstrate confidence in clinical decision-making while following evidence-based clinical guidelines.

• Capability to supervise at least 4 APP practitioners.

• Ability to oversee care involving typical primary care issues and a significant volume of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
