
Supervising Physician β Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Provide remote clinical oversight and supervision for Dermatology Physician Assistants in alignment with New York State regulations and organizational policies.
β’ Review, consult, and work collaboratively with PAs on patient care plans, treatment protocols, and clinical documentation.
β’ Be accessible for clinical consultation and guidance during specified business hours.
β’ Conduct regular chart reviews and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
β’ Support clinical best practices, initiatives for patient safety, and evidence-based dermatologic care.
β’ Engage in departmental meetings, provider education, and initiatives aimed at quality improvement.
β’ Assist in the onboarding, mentoring, and continuous development of Dermatology PAs.
β’ Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership to enhance workflows and patient outcomes.
β’ Ensure prompt completion of supervisory documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
β’ Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that aligns with Essen Health Careβs mission and values.
β’ MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.
β’ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
β’ Possession of an active and unrestricted New York State Medical License.
β’ DEA license and CDS registration, if applicable.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Dermatology is preferred.
β’ Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
β’ Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship abilities.
β’ Comfortable operating in a remote supervision model within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
β’ Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
