Supervising Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver medical supervisory services for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed for patient treatment, including conducting chart reviews as instructed by the Company.

• Complete the necessary documentation to supervise and collaborate with the maximum number of APPs permitted under the physician's license within the state of licensure.

• Advocate for the professional practice of the Company in accordance with legal standards and professional ethics.

• Collaborate and assist with policies related to indigent or charity care.

• Engage in surveys, quality improvement initiatives, quality assessment, chart reviews, utilization control, peer review, and credentialing activities.

• Adhere to and actively participate in quality improvement programs and peer review efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certification in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine.

• Licensed to practice in the state of employment.

• Possess a DEA license in the state of practice.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Strong skills in “Crucial Conversations.”
