SUD Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Perform health assessments to evaluate substance use, co-occurring disorders, and overall well-being.

• Identify health issues and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Prescribe and oversee medications, monitor for adverse effects, and modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with the Holon care team and external providers to ensure comprehensive, whole-person care.

• Act as a clinical consultant for complex or high-needs cases.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and support strategies for recovery.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and medical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.

• Conduct telehealth assessments, medication management, and care coordination.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active and unrestricted NP license in Washington.

• Hold an active DEA license (and CDS where applicable).

• Several years of experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or psychiatry.

• Experience specifically in addiction medicine or psychiatry is required.

• Board certification in the specialty is preferred.

• Excellent documentation abilities.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Possess deep compassion for individuals experiencing substance use disorders (SUD) and mental health issues.

• Ability to work collaboratively within integrated, team-oriented care models.

• Competence in navigating complex systems.

• Strong and confident communication skills in virtual settings.
