SUD Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Perform health assessments that evaluate substance use, co-occurring disorders, and overall wellbeing.

• Identify health issues and develop tailored treatment plans for each individual.

• Prescribe medications, oversee side effects, and modify treatment as necessary.

• Work in conjunction with the Holon care team and external partners to provide integrated whole-person care.

• Act as a clinical advisor for intricate or high-need cases.

• Inform clients and their families about treatment strategies, medications, and recovery support options.

• Keep precise and timely records in accordance with ethical, legal, and medical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, professional growth opportunities, and ongoing training.

• Conduct assessments, medication management, and care coordination through telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current and unrestricted NP license in New Jersey.

• Valid DEA license and CDS where applicable.

• Several years of experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or psychiatry.

• Background in addiction medicine or psychiatry.

• Excellent documentation skills.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Board certification in the specialty is preferred.

• Clear and confident communication skills in a virtual setting.

• Ability to work collaboratively within integrated and team-oriented care models.

• Skill in navigating complex healthcare systems.

• Empathy for individuals facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
