Study Physician – Inflammation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive medical support throughout the complete study lifecycle, from the initiation of the Trial Design Outline to the final Clinical Trial Report.

• Guarantee high-standard medical content within the Clinical Trial Protocol.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Trial Leader, Clinical Program Lead, Patient Safety Physician, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop essential trial documents.

• Engage in trial risk-based quality management from a medical standpoint.

• Identify medically significant critical data and processes, associated risks, and strategies for mitigation and monitoring.

• Assume medical responsibility for agile and adaptive reviews of medical data.

• Create the Clinical Quality Monitoring Plan and identify key protocol deviations.

• Provide medical training to investigators and the study team.

• Assist in the design of eCRF, automated data checks, ICF, lab alerts, recruitment and retention strategies, as well as regulatory and ethics inquiries.

• Address medical inquiries from investigators.

• Participate in adjudication and Data Monitoring Committee procedures.

• Act as a core member of the Trial Team and contribute to the Evidence Network for the asset.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD), preferably with a medical thesis.

• Experience in a clinical environment.

• At least four (4) years of active clinical practice experience.

• Specialization in Pulmonology, Immunology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, or Emergency Medicine is preferred.

• Background in Inflammation Clinical Development is advantageous.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO in medical or project management roles, particularly in Clinical Development, is desirable.

• Strong ability to communicate clearly and efficiently while collaborating with key stakeholders.

• Excellent presentation and training abilities.

• Capacity to work proactively and foster team spirit in an international setting.

• Strong analytical skills with a systematic and organized approach to work.

• Proficiency in utilizing digital technologies for information access, creativity, innovation, problem-solving, communication, navigation, learning, and application in a digital context.
