This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Engage in impactful Young Life ministry by participating in training and gaining hands-on field ministry experience.

• Create and implement personal spiritual growth plans while actively participating in the spiritual life of the church and Young Life.

• Lead and mentor volunteer leaders through recruitment, training, team building, and supervision.

• Hold regular meetings with volunteer leaders and area leadership to ensure effective collaboration.

• Exemplify excellence in contact work, club activities, Campaigners, and camping experiences.

• Fundraise and maintain relationships with donors to support ministry efforts.

• Provide ministry updates to personal donor partners to keep them informed.

• Support camp fundraising efforts and participate in designated committee and adult events.

• Take part in contact work, Young Life club, and Campaigners/discipleship ministry activities.

• Execute strategies for summer and school-season camping initiatives.

• May have the opportunity to serve on summer staff or within assigned roles at a Young Life property.

• Assist with office administration tasks and complete expense reports as necessary.

• Establish and evaluate annual ministry and personal goals.

• Work with youth in the Burnt Hills club to foster their development.

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program.

• Strong interpersonal skills with both children and adults.

• Proven ability in verbal and written communication.

• Capable of maintaining confidentiality in all matters.

• Must profess a personal belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

• Required to adhere to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and staff policies.

• Must be ready and able to fulfill essential ministry roles and responsibilities.

• Expected to avoid behavior and remarks that undermine Young Life’s biblical standards.

• Must comply with Young Life policies and guidelines, including those related to religious belief or ministry practices.
