STT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage system tests for the TM500 product.

• Collaborate with software and hardware development teams.

• Evaluate new protocol features and create test plans and test cases.

• Oversee testing for protocol features.

• Identify and diagnose issues in the TM500/E500 product.

• Report issues to the development team through precise technical documentation.

• Generate test specifications.

• Design and script automated system tests.

• Offer high-level technical assistance to customers regarding 3GPP-defined protocol behavior and TM500/E500 performance.

• Resolve product-related issues independently.

• Collaborate with teams and customers to address challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or Software Engineering.

• Strong understanding of mobile telecommunications, particularly in at least two technologies from NR (5G) and LTE (4G).

• Demonstrated experience in protocol feature analysis and developing test plans.

• Proven track record in protocol test development.

• Experience in analyzing captured data against expected results.

• Familiarity with test scripting in Python is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Ability to create high-quality technical documentation.

• Experience with IP-based data applications, such as FTP, HTTP, RTSP, VoLTE, and VoIP.

• Capability to troubleshoot various issues using diverse methods and techniques.

• Proven ability to work effectively with minimal guidance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
