Structural BIM Designer, Revit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold precise, detailed 3D structural models for steel and concrete NPI facilities utilizing Revit.

• Convert structural engineers' sketches, Bluebeam annotations, and design notes into accurate 3D models and 2D construction drawings.

• Import vendor files and integrate 3D models into a centralized Navisworks environment.

• Execute clash detection and isolate specific structural or equipment packages within Navisworks.

• Perform self-assessments and peer reviews on models and drawings to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and Australian Standards (AS).

• Interpret, draft, and modify 2D engineering process drawings (PFDs and P&IDs) using AutoCAD.

• Generate layout drawings and comprehensive site master plans for NPI.

• Draft, revise, and format engineering documents and reports utilizing Microsoft Word.

• Keep precise records in the company’s document control system, including administration and document formatting in Word and Excel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or a related discipline.

• At least 2+ years of experience in a drafting or engineering capacity, ideally within the mining, heavy industry, or NPI sectors.

• Advanced proficiency in developing structural steel and concrete models in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Revit.

• Hands-on experience using Navisworks for viewing, clash detection, and model federation.

• Exceptional technical writing abilities, capable of producing clear and compliant tender documents and engineering reports.

• Eager to learn, self-motivated, and ready to face new challenges.

• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).

• Experience with Australian WA mining standards or Non-Process Infrastructure is a significant advantage.

• Background in designing modular and scalable infrastructure.

• Experience in creating P&IDs and PFDs in AutoCAD 2D is highly beneficial.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
