Strategy and Policy Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Centene associates throughout the organization to formulate and implement strategies for the Duals Integration Office that align with business goals.

• Perform independent research and analysis on policy proposals, assessing their business and strategic implications.

• Offer expert knowledge on policy matters within the designated portfolio.

• Manage multiple health policy deliverables and spearhead cross-functional projects with minimal supervision.

• Oversee and maintain functional policy portfolio areas, successfully completing projects in uncertain or challenging situations.

• Evaluate legislation and regulations that affect Centene plans and products.

• Provide policy expertise in areas including Medicare Advantage and Part D, Marketplace, dual eligibles, Health IT, and Artificial Intelligence.

• Create position papers, talking points, meeting summaries, policy briefs, fact sheets, and presentations for senior leadership.

• Lead the development of comment letters and RFIs in response to legislative proposals, RFIs, and NPRMs.

• Advocate for Centene's Public Policy priorities in meetings with trade associations and relay updates on significant developments.

• Develop internal and external communication materials, regulatory summaries, policy memos, and comment letters.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities while adhering to policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Health Policy, Public Policy, or a related field, along with relevant experience, is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of combined experience in health policy, public policy, healthcare analytics, economics, law, or a related field is required.

• Proven experience in delivering high-quality, data-driven, and effective written and verbal communications to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in prioritizing rapid, iterative changes to create impact and respond to evolving business needs.

• Skilled in developing relationships internally and externally with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• A Master's Degree or relevant experience is preferred.
