
Strategic Technology Alliances Manager – AMD, OEM, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership and enhance strategic partnerships with AMD and leading hardware OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro, and Hitachi Vantara.
• Foster executive-level relationships within AMD and key OEMs.
• Develop the alliance strategy for Neo Cloud and sovereign cloud providers, including TensorWave and Vultr.
• Assist cloud providers in transitioning from basic GPU capacity to managed AI-as-a-Service using PaletteAI.
• Create collaborative go-to-market strategies that drive revenue generation.
• Execute targeted co-selling initiatives with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud, including cloud marketplaces.
• Position Spectro Cloud as the orchestration platform for partners utilizing AMD-powered hardware.
• Promote validated AI Factory architectures and Edge in a Box joint solutions.
• Discover cross-partner opportunities across silicon, server OEMs, data platforms, and cloud services.
• Assemble integrated “better together” solutions for partner sales teams.
• Collaborate with North American direct sales to empower partner sales and pre-sales efforts.
• Drive joint account mapping and monitor partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue.
• Represent Spectro Cloud at events such as AMD Advancing AI, Dell Technologies World, HPE Discover, KubeCon, and other summits.
• Incorporate partner feedback into product and integration roadmap planning.
• Ensure Salesforce.com hygiene and maintain forecasting accuracy.
• Develop and manage proposal and joint go-to-market documentation.
• Achieve assigned alliance and co-sell objectives.
• Report to the VP of Alliances while collaborating closely with the Regional VP of Sales in Central/South-Central US.
• 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise software, with substantial involvement in alliances, business development, or partner-led sales.
• Ideally experienced in cloud-native environments, Kubernetes, virtualization, or AI infrastructure.
• Established connections, or a strong capability to build them rapidly, within AMD and at least one tier-one OEM: Supermicro, Dell, HPE, Hitachi, or Lenovo.
• Knowledgeable about AMD's data center and AI stack, including Instinct GPUs, ROCm, EPYC, and Pensando.
• Proven success in closing and expanding strategic, multi-partner deals with quantifiable co-sell and partner-influenced revenue.
• Ability to communicate value and total cost of ownership (TCO) with a focus on customer outcomes.
• Demonstrated capacity to sell and influence at the executive/C-suite level.
• Excellent skills in pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com and partner CRM/PRM tools.
• Capable of acquiring and expanding new logos in a matrixed sales environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with VARs, alliance partners, GSIs, and integrators.
• Residing in Austin, TX; must be available for remote/home office, on-site visits with partners and customers as needed.
• Willingness and capacity to travel to AMD Advancing AI, Dell Technologies World, HPE Discover, KubeCon, and other significant partner events.
• A fun, energetic, and team-oriented approach.
• Preferred: Familiarity with iconic sales-oriented movies and memorable movie lines.
• Location preference: Austin, Dallas, or Houston, TX; candidates from Texas are strongly preferred.
