This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional supply chain teams to identify, formulate, and implement strategic supplier agreements.

• Ensure alignment of internal program needs with the long-term business and financial goals of the enterprise through Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), pricing agreements, and various contracting frameworks.

• Assist in affordability initiatives, consolidate demand signals, and facilitate efficient and proactive procurement processes.

• Evaluate internal business requirements and objectives for strategic partnerships and commodity management strategies.

• Create strategic approaches in collaboration with suppliers and structure MOAs/agreements that fulfill objectives and mitigate risks.

• Aggregate program demands and forecasts to establish long-term schedule and pricing agreements.

• Provide regular and recurring forecasts to suppliers.

• Solicit proposals from suppliers, review submissions, and develop agreement structures that promote proactive creation and awarding of purchase orders.

• Review, maintain, and proactively renew agreements to prevent gaps that could affect future acquisitions.

• Travel to USG/customer locations as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant supply chain experience, OR a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related supply chain experience, OR a minimum of 13 years of related supply chain experience in lieu of a degree.

• At least 7 years of experience in drafting and negotiating contract agreements.

• Familiarity with government contracting, including FAR Part 15.

• Experience in compliance-driven environments.

• Willingness to travel 25% to USG/Customer locations.

• An active or obtainable security clearance is preferred.

• A Master’s degree or formal concentration in supply chain, operations management, or business is preferred.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Knowledge of cost/price analysis techniques, supplier cost structures, and best practices in contracting is desirable.

• Background in defense, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing environments is beneficial.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience in leading supplier negotiations and facilitating cross-functional meetings.

• Skilled in developing executive-level presentation business case analyses.

• Capable of designing, developing, and presenting compelling materials to stakeholders at all levels.
