This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the entire recruitment process, from initial intake and job postings to sourcing, candidate communication, interviews, feedback, rejections, and closure.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and establish efficient interview processes.
• Engage in candidate calibration and maintain momentum in searches.
• Create sourcing strategies and develop qualified talent pipelines for various positions, with a focus on software engineering, QA, and product management.
• Source and connect with candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, professional networks, referrals, events, and other innovative channels.
• Keep recruiting dashboards up to date and manage organized ATS workflows using Lever.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and leverage funnel insights for continuous improvement in recruiting practices.
• Identify obstacles in the recruitment process and execute practical enhancements.
• Assist in employer branding initiatives, including content creation for the PolicyMe LinkedIn page and career-related materials.
• Contribute to providing a thoughtful, inclusive, and consistent candidate experience.
• 2–5 years of recruiting experience in a dynamic, high-growth technology environment, such as a startup, scale-up, agency, or similar setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive end-to-end recruiting experience, from initial intake to offer and closure.
• Strong partnerships with hiring managers and recruiting teams.
• Practical technical recruiting experience in software engineering, product, QA, and design roles.
• Capability to manage multiple searches, projects, timelines, and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build trust with candidates and cross-functional partners.
• Strong analytical and action-oriented problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox or similar sourcing tools, Brighthire, and Lever or other ATS platforms.
• Commitment to the continuous enhancement of recruiting skills, tools, and processes.
• Genuine interest in leveraging AI in the recruitment process and enhancing candidate experiences.
• Preference for candidates located in Toronto, with a willingness to work in the office on Thursdays; attendance is not mandatory.
