Strategic Software Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle for intricate professional services engagements, starting from kickoff and discovery to final delivery and transition.

• Conduct design workshops.

• Create detailed project documentation, which includes Gantt charts, resource allocation models, and Change Management strategies.

• Collaborate with PS Consultants, Technical Delivery, Sales, and Product teams to implement customized Statements of Work.

• Serve as the delivery specialist during pre-sales, aiding Sales and Customer Success with scoping, timeline validation, and the transition to delivery.

• Maintain a personal billable utilization rate between 60–70%.

• Oversee project margins, billable utilization, scope, and formal change control procedures.

• Act as the main point for escalation and reporting.

• Provide clear updates on milestones, budget expenditure, and RAID logs to both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in leading large-scale, billable service delivery within a SaaS or consulting environment.

• Demonstrated success in managing projects with budgets that exceed $100k.

• Advanced proficiency in Gantt-based scheduling, resource forecasting, and RAID log upkeep.

• Experience with web/mobile documentation management or construction-tech platforms is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of Organizational Change Management (OCM).

• Capability to influence C-suite stakeholders using data-driven insights.

• Experience in the Construction, Engineering, or Financial SaaS sectors is a considerable advantage.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• PMP and/or CAPM certification is highly preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 20–30% for client on-site visits and internal strategy meetings.
