Strategic IT Sourcing Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee enterprise RFP, RFQ, and RFI procedures for software, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, telecommunications, managed services, and professional services.

• Negotiate intricate commercial contracts that encompass pricing, SLAs, audit rights, data privacy clauses, and termination safeguards.

• Manage the entire IT contract lifecycle, from competitive sourcing to negotiation, execution, renewals, and closeout.

• Maintain a contract repository along with a proactive renewal calendar.

• Achieve cost savings, cost avoidance, and enhancements in total cost of ownership via financial analysis and benchmarking.

• Oversee strategic supplier relationships through performance scorecards, KPI frameworks, and quarterly business reviews.

• Perform spend analytics and market benchmarking to uncover sourcing opportunities and guide category strategies.

• Utilize procurement platforms, eSourcing tools, ERP systems, spend analytics, automation, and AI-driven procurement tools.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, HR, and business stakeholders to align sourcing priorities and ensure compliance, security, and operational requirements.

• Develop and sustain category strategies for essential technology spending areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is acceptable.

• Over 7 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or IT contract management, with verifiable experience in previous roles.

• At least 3 years specifically leading IT/technology sourcing initiatives, including direct participation in vendor negotiations.

• Proven experience managing or leading enterprise RFP, RFQ, or RFI competitive procurement events from start to finish.

• Experience overseeing the IT contract lifecycle through negotiations, renewals, SLA management, and commercial risk oversight.

• Documented achievement of cost savings, cost avoidance, or TCO improvements, supported by financial analysis.

• Practical experience with procurement platforms, eSourcing tools, ERP systems, or CLM solutions such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or Ivalua.
