This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Lead sourcing efforts that support around $100M in both direct and indirect expenditures for Pall Aerospace.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Global Sourcing teams.
• Drive initiatives related to sourcing, outsourcing, insourcing, subcontract management, and supplier strategy.
• Formulate and implement sourcing strategies.
• Oversee supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Conduct market analysis and evaluate supply alternatives.
• Achieve results in cost reduction, margin enhancement, supplier performance, DPO, and global value sourcing metrics.
• Assist in supplier development activities.
• Work together on design and manufacturability assessments to enhance cost and performance.
• Provide direction to tactical purchasing teams.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, supplier governance, and best practices in sourcing.
• Regularly assess the current supply base for potential improvements.
• Design, lead, negotiate, and implement long-term Pall contracts, which include RFQs, RFIs, LTAs, Pricing Level Agreements, and Stocking Agreements.
• Aid in vendor transitions, including outsourcing, insourcing, and vendor-to-vendor shifts.
• Aim to maximize year-over-year improvements in working capital.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to align local manufacturing site needs with center-led strategies.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain within the Supply Chain organization.
• Be prepared to work additional hours and weekends as necessary to meet business demands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with proven performance outcomes.
• Experience in domestic and/or global sourcing for a large U.S. or multinational manufacturing organization.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience using tools for RFI, RFQ, and Reverse Auctions.
• Willingness to travel as needed; 25–35% of travel is expected.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Must be capable of performing job tasks in office, distribution, and customer-site environments, including occasional lifting, climbing stairs, and extended periods of mobility.
• Familiarity with aerospace and defense programs, customers, and products is advantageous.
• Understanding of U.S. Government contracting processes, including ITAR, FAR/DFAR regulations, Small Business Plans, Assertion of Commerciality procedures, price/cost analysis, and government certifications is a plus.
• Experience with New Product Introduction processes and supporting internal stakeholders is beneficial.
• Ability to build relationships with suppliers is a plus.
• Strong communication skills across all levels internally and externally; exceptional negotiating abilities are an advantage.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
