This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving performance within Billing Services.
• Convert strategic objectives into organized programs featuring defined scope, milestones, accountability, and measurable results.
• Create and sustain program roadmaps, project timelines, status updates, risk and issue logs, as well as executive-level dashboards.
• Direct the offshore strategy, which includes scoping transitions, conducting readiness evaluations, planning transitions, and executing go-live phases.
• Manage offshore partners and teams through service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), quality benchmarks, capacity planning, and management of escalations.
• Establish governance processes, conduct business reviews, develop performance scorecards, and formulate corrective action plans.
• Analyze workflows, staffing structures, and productivity metrics to pinpoint opportunities for automation, standardization, and enhancements in processes.
• Create business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and return on investment (ROI) models for strategic projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Development, IT/Product, Compliance, Finance, HR, and Training to allocate resources and implement programs.
• Ensure that processes comply with federal, state, and payer regulatory standards, including HIPAA, PHI management, and data security protocols.
• Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow documentation, and training resources.
• Monitor post-implementation benefits and communicate results, risks, and necessary adjustments to leadership.
• Direct change management and communication strategies across both onshore and offshore teams.
• Assist with the integration and onboarding processes for acquisitions, new clients, and new service offerings.
• Lead cross-functional meetings, promote accountability, and eliminate barriers to execution.
• Effectively manage all responsibilities of the role within a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or a similar field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of program or project management experience overseeing cross-functional, multi-site initiatives.
• Experience in managing or supporting offshore, outsourced, or business process outsourcing (BPO) operations is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the comprehensive revenue cycle, including billing, coding, claims, denials, collections, and payer requirements.
• Proven track record in developing business cases, performance scorecards, and reports for executive management.
• Project management certification (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); familiarity with project management and business intelligence tools is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with the capacity to convert data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities, particularly with executive leadership and external partners.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change without direct authority.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
• Experience in a metrics-driven, fast-paced operational environment.
