This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
β’ Identify, cultivate, and oversee strategic partnerships to enhance business growth.
β’ Monitor and input qualified opportunities into the company's sales pipeline portal.
β’ Negotiate contractual terms in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
β’ Present to potential clients and internal executives.
β’ Collaborate with executives, sales, and marketing teams to build the pipeline, secure accounts, finalize agreements, assist with implementations, and manage the transition to sales and service teams.
β’ Track sales performance, gross profit, partnership health, and profitability to ensure territory retention and expansion.
β’ Conduct presentations for new business capabilities and review existing customer accounts.
β’ Understand and communicate customer KPIs, contract adherence, and financials.
β’ Facilitate the implementation and alignment of new business contract conversions for effective onboarding.
β’ Recognize customer needs and translate them into revenue through supply and service offerings.
β’ Share strategic insights and competitive intelligence with sales management and related teams.
β’ Suggest actions to address competitive challenges.
β’ Utilize territory mapping to prioritize growth and manage sales-call scheduling.
β’ Collaborate with and train Zone Managers, Regional Managers, and Field Sales on market strategies.
β’ Applicants must reside within the territory, which encompasses Denver, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, and Albuquerque.
β’ Typically, 10 or more years of professional experience demonstrating a successful track record of achieving goals and growth with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in medical sales or marketing within medical distribution or manufacturing.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience working with some or all of the following: Full IDNs and/or segments within, Independent Outpatient Care Facilities, and/or large physician offices.
β’ Familiarity with medical organization structures, including GPOs, RPCs, MSOs, IPAs, CHCs, IDNs, hospitals, ASCs, and physician office practices.
β’ Understanding of medical markets, trends, competition, key manufacturers, and distributors.
β’ Basic knowledge of diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical-surgical supplies, medical equipment, and related services.
β’ Proficient in computer software tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint, and online meeting platforms.
β’ Basic understanding of supply chain purchasing software and interaction with ERP systems, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
β’ Capable of discussing punch-out, cXML, XML, EDI, e-Catalogs, and hosted catalogs accurately.
β’ Comfortable with online transactions and knowledgeable about inventory management.
β’ Strong business acumen along with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, business planning, sales strategy, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
β’ Proficient verbal and written communication skills with the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
β’ Exceptional presentation and public speaking abilities.
β’ Independent decision-making, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
β’ Capable of interpreting and acting on financial information that contributes to profitability.
β’ Ability to plan and manage complex projects, including resources, timelines, budgets, and responsibilities.
β’ Competent in leading teams and addressing complex business challenges.
β’ Strong planning and organizational skills.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders.
β’ Proficient negotiation skills and the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
β’ Ability to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities, manage conflicts, and navigate office politics.
β’ Experience in leading and developing virtual teams.
β’ Experience in building and maintaining relationships within a team environment.
β’ Willingness to travel at least 50% within and outside the state of residence.
β’ Required to have a remote established working environment.
