Strategic Finance Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive strategic finance tasks using mock files.

• Develop business cases and investment evaluations employing NPV, IRR, and payback methods.

• Create capital allocation assessments that rank investments against hurdle rates while conducting portfolio reviews.

• Formulate scenario and sensitivity analyses pertaining to the corporate plan, focusing on demand, pricing, and costs.

• Evaluate pricing and discount economics to aid in price setting and deal desk approvals, considering margin implications.

• Generate market sizing reports and competitive landscape assessments.

• Examine cohort and unit economics.

• Perform cost baseline and savings evaluations for a cost reduction initiative.

• Deliver work outputs that are assessed against a specified rubric.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning within an operating company.

• Responsibility for a capital or pricing decision that was presented to a leadership forum.

• Preferred: Background in management consulting or Big 4 strategy, currently in an operational role.

• Preferred: Experience in growth equity now working in-house.

• Preferred: Experience in deal desk or pricing strategy.

• Complete an assessment that includes a business case with NPV and IRR, along with a pricing and margin suggestion and a capital allocation ranking.

• Fund-side strategy positions are not included in the scope.
