FP&A Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of annual business planning, monthly forecasting, performance management, and comprehensive variance analysis.

• Transform financial and business data into proactive insights and actionable recommendations for the executive team and Board of Directors.

• Spearhead the investor relations program, encompassing strategy, schedule, financial materials, and messaging.

• Manage critical Capital Markets and fundraising workstreams, from financial modeling and data preparation to addressing investor inquiries.

• Develop and continuously enhance company-wide KPIs, reporting frameworks, and budgeting processes.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Planning, Operations, and Accounting teams to boost profitability, P&L performance, and cash flow.

• Assemble, mentor, and nurture a high-performing FP&A team that demonstrates clear ownership and accountability.

• Ensure that leadership has access to precise, timely, and decision-ready financial information to effectively allocate resources and prioritize investments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive Finance/FP&A experience, including 3–5+ years at the Director level or in a similar role.

• More than 6 years of experience in Retail, with a strong preference for those with e-commerce experience.

• At least 3 years of experience leading or actively contributing to Capital Markets and fundraising efforts.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing Finance teams, including direct reports at the Manager level.

• Solid expertise in financial planning, forecasting, financial modeling, performance management, and business analysis.

• Exceptional executive-level communication skills, capable of presenting intricate financial insights effectively to senior leaders, Boards, and investors.

• Experience thriving in fast-growing, dynamic environments; start-up experience is highly regarded.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics; an MBA or Master’s in Finance is strongly preferred.
