This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Act as the main contact for enterprise utility clients.
• Foster trusted, knowledgeable, and innovative relationships with customers.
• Actively provide ideas, industry knowledge, and strategic advice to clients.
• Conduct regular business reviews that align with the strategic objectives of customers.
• Position exnaton as a strategic partner in clients’ energy transition journeys.
• Identify and promote account growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling.
• Manage upsell opportunities from proposal to signature, with variable compensation linked to finalized deals.
• Take ownership of and resolve escalations and issues from start to finish.
• Advocate for the customer's perspective in internal discussions about products, services, and strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to enhance customer value.
• Monitor account health and performance using CRM tools while proactively anticipating customer needs.
• Contribute to the development of exnaton and launch its AI-powered intelligence platform for new energy solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or energy-related fields, and/or relevant experience.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Preferred background in management consulting, business development, and/or experience in the energy/utilities industry.
• Proven experience in a client-facing advisory, sales, or consulting role.
• Demonstrated success in business development, including sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing commercial deals.
• Proactive and forward-thinking approach.
• Strong skills in relationship building and a genuine interest in customers' businesses.
• Ability to translate client challenges into strategic, technology-driven solutions, including drafting customized proposals.
• Proven capability to lead complex projects and independently manage multiple workstreams.
• Ability to coordinate across various functions and align diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of SaaS business models and generating and capturing value through platform relationships.
• Collaborative team player with a willingness to share knowledge.
• Fluent in both German and English (mandatory requirement).
• Familiarity with the regulatory and commercial landscape of the energy/utilities sector, including relevant system environments is ideally preferred.
