This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee, direct, and manage business processes and projects for Core Medical Teams and/or Business Area Heads within Medical Affairs.
• Strategize and implement annual deliverables, pre- and post-launch initiatives, project development, management, and budgeting.
• Manage both internal and external strategic partnerships to enhance Medical Modernization, Strategic Partnership Engagements, and overall Medical Affairs performance.
• Cultivate relationships and maintain effective communication with stakeholders and external partners.
• Lead the execution of critical business projects.
• Strategize and carry out projects related to strategic launches and life-cycle management across therapy and business domains.
• Propel Core Medical Team and Business Area core processes.
• Align budget strategies with the overarching Medical Affairs objectives.
• Establish and implement governance to ensure compliance of medical activities with legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide strategic support to Therapeutic Area and Business Area leadership.
• Coordinate activities and projects for CMT and Business Areas, including the development of annual strategies and tactics.
• Employ project planning principles to effectively coordinate and execute projects and activities.
• Assist in developing qualitative and quantitative performance metrics to assess CMT effectiveness.
• Implement best practices and standards in Medical Affairs.
• Coordinate operational functions, enhance communication, and promote collaboration across different departments.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to boost the effectiveness of Medical Affairs.
• Identify areas for process enhancement, analyze workflows, and implement improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Encourage innovation and streamline operations through the adoption of new technologies or methodologies.
• Lead budget planning alongside Business Area Heads, including local budgets and LAP allocations.
• Manage external vendors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management is required.
• Strong understanding of project, change, and program management principles, methods, techniques, and process improvement.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient and well-versed in the Microsoft suite of applications.
• Ability to foster and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Capability to collaborate with stakeholders in designing and executing analyses that support decision-making and strategic planning.
• A strategic and growth-oriented mindset, with a solid understanding of market demands and the legal and regulatory landscape of the pharmaceutical sector.
• Experience managing budgets and contracts, including conducting cost-benefit analysis, ROI assessments, KPIs, financial milestones, and payment schedules.
• Proven analytical skills and critical thinking abilities to address complex issues and devise innovative solutions.
