This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Conduct or assist in conducting classification and compensation studies for municipalities, counties, special districts, or school districts in Oregon/Pacific Northwest.

• Lead job evaluations, market analysis, and recommendations for pay structures.

• Engage with stakeholders and produce clear recommendations for the public sector.

• Act as a designated subject matter expert (SME) and project partner, providing written references when authorized.

• Contribute insights from past performance in the Oregon/Pacific Northwest region to AlphaGov proposals, when granted permission.

• Participate in remote-first, project-based consulting assignments, which may include occasional travel to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering class/compensation studies for municipalities, counties, special districts, or school districts in Oregon and/or the Pacific Northwest.

• Ability to function as a designated SME/project partner with the provision of written references.

• Experience in job evaluation, pay structure analysis, and market studies.

• Comfort with contract and project-based engagements.

• Local presence or a robust public-sector network in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho (preferred).

• Recent past performance in Oregon municipal projects that can be referenced in proposals (preferred).
