This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Offer guidance, expertise, and assistance to Engage fi clients as a strategic partner and training subject matter expert.
• Support essential transformation projects, including core and digital conversions as well as mergers and acquisitions.
• Evaluate, design, and execute training strategies to ensure smooth transitions, enhanced client experience, and operational readiness.
• Establish and nurture robust client relationships through needs analysis, solution recommendations, and support for internal stakeholders.
• Manage complex client projects and apply industry best practices to implement strategies and minimize risks.
• Create, tailor, and sustain project documentation such as RFPs and project timelines.
• Ensure project scope, schedule, and budget align with the statement of work.
• Lead project workshops, vendor sessions, project meetings, and other vital project events and communications.
• Provide subject matter expertise to monitor, address, and escalate risks, gaps, and issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic vendors.
• Analyze market trends in the financial industry and assess vendor solutions, competitors, system updates, and functionalities.
• Conduct training needs assessments in line with institution-specific objectives and compliance requirements.
• Formulate training plans for frontline and back-office personnel during core and digital platform conversions.
• Direct training curricula and delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
• Support change management initiatives and staff adoption processes.
• Oversee the effectiveness of refresher and gap training.
• Assist with process reviews, improvements, implementations, and the development of project artifacts and tools.
• Monitor and record project billing hours and budgets.
• Mentor and train other members of the Engage fi team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and professional verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to absorb information, listen, formulate persuasive arguments, and effectively present solutions and recommendations.
• Proficient in preparing and delivering presentations and training to clients, while facilitating discussions with clients, vendors, and other key third parties.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint; willingness to learn other software applications.
• Advanced problem-solving skills coupled with a natural curiosity for resolving issues.
• Strong critical thinking abilities, including what-if analyses and the capacity to understand and articulate options and consequences.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and possessing strong time-management abilities.
• Skillful in organizing and prioritizing tasks to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in the credit union, banking, payments, or related vendor industry.
• Preference for prior leadership roles, project oversight/management expertise, and familiarity with core banking conversions.
• In-depth knowledge of core banking and associated vendors, solutions, tools, and processes.
• Experience in training design, facilitation, and implementation.
• Competence in managing external third-party vendors and clients/customers, including their employees, consultants, and designated subcontractors.
• Experience leading creative problem-solving sessions with leadership teams across various business disciplines.
• Ability to present complex solutions to senior leadership teams.
• Familiarity with contracts and vendor management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, and CRM platforms.
• Capability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time.
